2018 FALL FESTIVAL
This year our farm will be open to the public every weekend beginning Saturday, September 29 through Sunday, October 28. We will also be holding our third annual Educational Day on Monday, October 29 (more information below).
Our hours are:
Saturdays 10 am to 6 pm
Sundays 1 pm to 6 pm
We suggest you plan on at least two and a half to three hours to experience all the farm has to offer.
Last admission is at 5 pm and the last hayride leaves the farmyard at 5:30 pm.
ESCAPE MAZE – Saturday, October 27 6 to 9pm
Cost is $10 per adult and $8 per child 2 to 12.
We have some lighting in the maze, but you need a flashlight.
We will still be selling pumpkins if we have them left.
We will be selling drinks and snacks.
YES, WE WANT YOU TO HAVE FUN, BUT WE WANT EVERYONE TO BE SAFE; HERE ARE THE RULES:
PARENTS- NO DROP OFFS.
FLASHLIGHTS ARE REQUIRED.
NO PICKING OR THROWING THE CORN.
STAY ON THE TRAIL- THIS KEEPS YOU SAFE AS WELL KEEPS THE CORN STANDING.
REMEMBER THE GOLDER RULE: BE CONSIDERATE TO OTHERS AND TO THE PROPERTY YOU ARE ON.
NO SMOKING, ALCOHOL OR DRUGS. IF YOU ARE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF THE LATTER TWO, PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THE FARM.
VIOLATORS OF ANY OF THE ABOVE WILL BE ASKS TO LEAVE THE FARM WITHOUT A REFUND.
3rd ANNUAL EDUCATIONAL DAY – Monday, Oct 29
Huckleberry Trail Farm will be hosting its 3rd Annual Educational Day to celebrate the last day of the season. For one day only, from 9 am to 3 pm, Huck is offering our special field trip admission for everyone: $8.50. Admission includes a free small pumpkin while quantities last!
You will have full access to the farm which includes the corn maze, the pumpkin patch, a farmyard full of old timey fun and games, cotton picking, sling shotz and more. (Sorry, no hayride on this day). We also have a picnic area where you can eat your lunch in the shade of our trees. Cool drinks and snacks will be available for sale. Special activities on Educational Day include:
BECKY AND TOM’S SCAVENGER HUNT
The kids will not only have a lot of fun finding things on the farm, but they will learn about farm stuff, too. All groups who complete the hunt get a special prize.
HUCK’S SLING SHOT CONTEST
Competitions for distance and accuracy. Should you “shoot” for 100 pts or go for lots of lower points to win?
Thursday and Fridays during the month of October have been reserved for field trip groups between the hours of 9 am and 3:30 pm. Fields trips are for public, private and home school groups.
